Some favorable conditions are innocently created by the homeowners due to personal choices during the landscaping around the houses or while remodeling (planters, veneers, porches, etc.) and others will come naturally as foundations or other building components may crack or deteriorate as time goes by. Recommendations to stop an active Poria attack have to be made for the specific needs of the structure under attack. Locating the points of entry is the most important part of the solution, as the repairs have to be focused in eliminating those conditions that are providing the access.
