How can we parallel test POM between 7/1 and 9/1 if POM is not live until 9/1/2002?
There will be scripted test POM documents issued during the test period, specifically for the POM Purchase Order. The parallel test orders [Delivery Instructions] will be in 4030 format. This will allow the supplier to test their ability to receive 4030 transactions which are critical to POM. We are investigating methods of reducing the number of test orders that will be sent to each supplier during the test period. The length of the testing period depends largely on the supplier. Once the supplier is ready to go into production on 4030 the test orders will be discontinued.
