The best way to combat nutgrass is to keep a good, thick healthy lawn. This helps crowd out nutgrass and is important in controlling it. It’s also important to know that nutgrass thrives in wet areas. Make sure you aren’t over-watering and aerate and/or improve drainage if needed.
