How can we even out the distribution of the population in the world?
There are a number of reasons why the Earth is not evenly populated, or even close to it. 1. Economics, even with the borders of nations and states, there is a tendency to congregate a majority of the population in urban centres. Attempts to change this would mirror the acts of Pol Pot, and kill many who could not live outside an urban centre. Our economic systems essentially are designed or have evolved to have this demographic spread. 2. Climate/arable land: This is not evenly distributed, and it could never occur that desert, tundra and jungle areas could bear the same population density as prime arable land. Urbanisation also takes over a portion of arable land in many areas and this policy would actually lead to famine. Who would decide who lives where? 3. Politics: national borders would become meaningless and people would spread from then regions with max mum population to those with lesser population, assuming all land was equal, which it isn’t The conflicts over prime land wou
