How can we dispose of household waste?
You don’t say exactly what waste you mean, but I’ll try to answer anyway. With food stuff, you can compost it. (Never include meat or animal products in the compost, though…just vegetable products.) Paper, plastics, and metals recycle. Clean thoroughly first. If you don’t have a curbside recycling program in your neighborhood, simply take them to your local recycling center when you get a decent amount of items accumulated. To dispose of leftover paint…if it’s a decent amount of paint you can give it away on Freecycle.org If it isn’t worth giving away, mix some Plaster of Paris into the paint. Let that harden and then throw it away. (Trash collectors will take hard paint, but not liquid paint.) If you don’t have curbside trash pick up in your area, you can do what my parents used to do….save the trash for a while and then give it to someone who does have curbside pick up. I used to haul my parents trash out for them about every 2 weeks. Take hazardous materials to your local haza
