How can we determine the time of death from the rate of gastric emptying?
It is multi factorial in short you should determine factors affecting rate of gastric emptying and if you know the time of the last meal together with the co ingestion you should roughly be able to guess how long after the meal the person died and when the time of the last meal is known this leads to the time of death.
