How can we best fight poverty in Africa?
I don’t know the country in which you live, and while I sympathize with the plights in Africa, here in the USA we also have much poverty that needs to be addressed by our government. With our current administration, our economy is continuing to get worse and many people who were making a livable wage, are now at the government set poverty level – less than $28,000 / year.
I’m more worried about fighting poverty where I live…in America…yeah, sure, it sucks that other countries are poor…but we’re not exactly in great times here. I like to help my neighbors, but I”m not going to miss a car payment to loan them money, so they can pay for their car. And that’s how I feel about the world….when things are good, and I mean REALLY good for us, they Hell yeah, I’ll be all about helping Africa or wherever else…but for now, we have our own backyard to worry about.
