How can we become authorized to utilize Live Scan service?
In order to receive Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI), you must apply to the California Department of Justice to become an authorized applicant agency. Applicant agencies are companies or organizations, who are conducting business or performing services, that are authorized by California statute to implement fingerprint-based background checks for the purposes of employment, volunteers, licensing and certification.
