It seems to me, that recent news events involving online banking, have been more to do with the banking systems security itself than with online banking per se. The big data losses/breaches have come from within the main system, not the periphery system (us).Although keeping a clean computer is a massive plus in the right direction. Without going totally paranoid, regularly changing passwords is a fairly easy straight forwards precaution. Not responding to phishing attempts in emails is another, if you need to verify your account, in person, or over the telephone to your banks call centre would be preferably.A keyscrambler may be helpful, depending on its functionality. Not forgetting of course, just general vigilance. Upping the ante/paranoia, depends on your budget, I guess. Easy enough starter, VPN, SSH, not using a router/gateway for your connection for any financial transactions, as slow as it maybe, in the wrong situations, Dialup is far more secure than broadcasting your transac
