How can voters be sure that Measure G money will be well spent?
By law, no money can be spent on projects other than those included on the Measure G Project List approved by voters. Money cannot be used for administrators’ salaries. State law also requires annual financial and performance audits and an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee to be established to monitor expenditures and make sure all funds are spent properly.
