How can this telescope be connected to a Canon Digital Rebel Camera for photography purposes?
Thank you. A: The national Geographic 70mm tabletop refractor is not really designed for astrophotography. It doesn’t have the front weight that will really allow for it to hold a camera. What you would need though is a basic 1.25″ camera adapter and a Canon Eos T-ring. Q2: Looking for a telescope for land use as well as sky. Had bought one but image of skyline was upside down. Then bough spotting scope but magnification was inadequate. Will this telescope view correctly or what telescope at around $100 should I be condsidering. Thx A: a refractor is definitely the way that you want to go if you are going to use a telescope during the day. You will however need an “erect image prism” otherwise your image will be upside down.
