How can they give inaccurate weather forecast in Seattle, WA?
Weather forcasting in the Seattle area is said to be the most difficult of any place in the US. There are way too many natural influences on the weather: the Pacific Ocean, the Olympics and Cascades, wind currents, etc. I share your frustration about not going to work when you could have. It’s a bit of a crap-shoot around here. I’m missing a medical appointment that was originally scheduled for yesterday but was changed to today. There is 7 inches of snow on the roads where I am (north of Seattle) and the highway between me and the medical appointment is closed both directions!
