How can there still be Druids today?
No one can trace a birth lineage of Druids from old times to the present, though some try and some maintain documented claims to prove it. The spirit of the Green World, however, has a life of its own. It surrounds and enfolds us, whether human culture and history are aware of it or not. From time to time this spirit – the spirit of Druidry – breaks in upon the world anew, and expresses itself in new places and new contexts. In this way, contemporary Druids are both new, and old.
