what its a song of protest about the poor and the black brothers being drafted into a war that wasnt declared,,, like this one ,and the pain and sorrow of the people affected by the war ,,and the way no one at the top cared that it was a meat grinder for poor people, and blacks ,,and others ,,they used to give criminals a sentence of marine corps or jail,, for pot ,or stealing a car ,or any type of offence ,,,so you gamble your life in a war to save your buttocks from prison ,,that was common
