How can the SCSI-ID number of the internal harddisk be changed?

0

The ID of the internal 2.5 inch harddisk can only be changed by jumper setting. On the mainboard of the devices, there are 3×2 pins for plugging jumpers on, labelled “ID0,ID1,ID2”. If there is no jumper at all, the current ID is 0. A jumper which connects the “ID0”-pins together adds 1 to the ID, on “ID1” it adds 2 and on “ID2” it adds 4 to the current ID. For 3.5 inch harddisk drives or CD-ROM drives, the jumper positions are on the drives are device-dependent. Please turn off the player before you change anything. After changing an ID-number of a SCSI drive, it’s drive letter must be released by the REL-function of the Device Drive Manager and then installed again.
