How can the public stay involved during the SMP update process?
Planning Commission meetings occur on a monthly basis and Commission members welcome public input during these meetings. In addition, a citizen may provide written comment at any time. Also, in addition to this section of the website, there are a variety of other ways to learn more about the project and provide comment. To date, the city has held a boat tour of Lake Washington, conducted a public opinion phone survey, held focus groups with residential property owners and marina and construction industry representatives, and held several informational open houses.
