Public involvement is fundamental to the PA 23 EIS Project. The objectives of the public involvement effort are to present information in a timely, accurate and easily understandable manner and to incorporate public concerns and ideas into the decision-making process. The goal is to develop transportation improvements associated with land use that best meet the defined problems (also called “needs”) while being responsive to the community interests and concerns. Input provided by study area residents, business persons, and officials will be considered with equal regard during the study process.
