How can the Novins Law Prep help on the State Essays and the MPT?
• The Novins Law Prep Pro/Con Essay Outlining method is designed to help the student identify and organize relevant issues to get as many points as possible from the Grader’s checklist. This method enables students to spot key issues and prove their conclusions with specific facts from the essay question. To write a superior essay the student must construct a detailed outline that has the key facts and relevant rules clearly organized. Students can use this outline, and with some additional legal language, create a strong IRAC answer. • The Novins Law Prep tutor will (1) teach the student how to properly apply the Pro/Con Essay Outlining method, (2) create 2 Pro/Con essay outlines for each of the important State subjects with the student, (3) compare the student’s outline to the Model answer in order to measure the student’s ability to identify and evaluate key issues, and (4) grade and critique the student’s answers written under time conditions.
