How can the movement of plate tectonics create a volcano?

When the two plates move towards each other, they form a convergent/destructive plate boundary. The denser plate will then subduct under the other, and melt under the heat of the magma. It will form cracks in the plate, and the magma will find its way out from the cracks to Earth’s surface. The magma will flow out onto Earth’s surface, slowly cool and harden. This process repeats until the hardened lava forms a volcano. Acidic lava (lava that are of higher temperature and viscous) will form acid-lava and composite volcanoes (steep slopes, smaller base area); basic lava will form shield volcanoes (gentle slopes, large base area).
