Food stamps (supplemental funds specified for food alone) 3. Cash assistance (this is made available for a limited time, max of 2 years I believe) 4. Public housing (either building establishments that will calculate your income, size of household and expenses to come to a fair amount of rent) 5. Public housing vouchers (the same as public housing w/a small difference, you can live anywhere) 6. WIC (Women Infants Children-small supplements of food, formula for newborns, milk, juice, cereal, peanut butter, etc for small children up to the age of 5, if the mother is nursing, nutrious food for her) I am sure there are more but that is all I can think of at this moment.
