How can the law be used as a tool for social engineering?
How can the law be used? By making certain activities legal or illegal, you can control behavior. Control behavior long enough and it becomes a cultural standard, even if the law later changes. I personally don’t believe in controlling the behavior of others. So I personally would oppose (vehemently) any attempt to use the law for social engineering purposes. That’s one reason I became an attorney in the first place.
