My curiosity was why in the show “heros” the people who can go invisible can see each other. Ok, lets forget for a moment about the invisible man stories with the guy wrapped in bandages and sunglasses. Invisibility used by super soldiers of the future would be acheived by bending light around the persons body, thus the person appears the same color as what is behind them. This could possibly be acheived with fibre optics which bend light. Of course not all the light would need to be bent around a person, just enough to create the illusion of invisibility. It would be like the predator armor, where you would see traces when it moves, but when its standing still you would see nothing. The persons eyes would function just fine and enough light would get to them to see what was going on. Light augmenting goggles could be used to aid in vision if it is a problem.
