How can the Interactions e-Course help our instructors use their classroom time more efficiently?
The interactive design of the Interactions e-Course lends itself to homework and language lab use, as a complement to classroom practice. Built-in audio, animation, video, flashcards, and synchronized voice-over reading provide engaging, self-directed listening and reading comprehension practice that might otherwise take valuable classroom time. Providing students with a pedagogically-sound way of practicing these skills frees up time in the classroom for face-to-face communication practice. The e-Course design also lends itself to use in the classroom with an LCD projector or Interactive White Board, as discussed above, using rich media and the Zoom function to grab student attention.
