Glukkons do not have hands to clap with, and Vykkers don’t appear to have the sort of hands that readily produce applause. Alf says it isn’t beyond the Vykkers to have created a machine that produces or amplifies the sound of clapping for use in formal events such as the Gabbiar Auction.
