How can the computer misuse act affect a business?
The computer misuse act would benefit business rather affect them in any adverse way. The computer misuse act is to protect individuals and businesses against people hacking their systems or similar. Thinking about it, I guess that a hotel could have a problem if they had a network which gave guests access through to the internet and a guest was to misuse this and do illegal acts whilst using the hotels network. The hotel could find themselves liable if it was traced back to the hotels network and they could not somehow prove who was responsible. The solution to that is to ensure that the access is protected and monitored.
