How can the british support Fox hunting and bird hunting by the royal family?
I am British and i can tell you that hardly anyone supports fox hunting in Britain (apart from farmers who see them as vermin because they kill so many lambs etc, thus setting their business back) and the aristocracy, and like you say royal family, who see it as tradition – and normal people just think they are a bunch of w*nkers. This is why fox hunting is now BANNED!! Most bird shooting is pigeon shooting and that, if it is done for sport is clay pigeon shooting, apart from that the only shooting of birds i can think of would be, again, farmers shooting pheasants and the like to eat them, or any birds that were destroying crops. People over here as a general rule hate cruelty to animals, of course, you’ll get the few ars*holes who think it’s ok – but you’ll get them everywhere. No one supports the Royal Family! In fact most of us don’t even think there should still be one!!! The killing of any innocent creature for sport is bad, whatever the country or the animal!
