Hercules does not have a button to turn this feature off, ie prevent it from jumping to a higher speed. Instead the Gryphon family hardware web interface can be used to turn the speed change off. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the Gryphon hardware. Select Configuration. Enter User ID and Password. Click on the Programs tab. Uncheck the box defined SWCANSPEED. Select Submit changes.
