How can technology and engineering provide innovative solutions to todays global challenges?
It is run by three partners: The Independent, Bosch and the Royal Academy of Engineering. This year we are encouraging discussion within a wide range of subjects in the curriculum, aiming to raise students’ awareness of engineering. The two schools with the most entries win their choice of Bosch products up to the value of £400, and all schools with 15 or more entries win a Bosch IXO Lithium-Ion cordless screwdriver. Winning students will be invited to attend an awards ceremony in July, and everyone who enters the competition receives a personalised certificate. Look out for the Opinion Boxes in the Education supplement of the Independent during November and January for discussions on the topic. Essays can be submitted online, by email, or by post.
