UT Austin’s Volunteer and Service Learning Center (VSLC) is a resource for students interested in becoming involved in community service. The VSLC provides information to students on agencies in the Austin area that need volunteers and organizes events to promote volunteer service. The Student Volunteer Board’s Texas FIRST (Freshmen Integrating Respect, Service and Teamwork) is a great way for new students to get involved.
