How can students, faculty and staff get involved in the budget-review process?
The Administration has invited the entire community to get involved in the Strategic Budget Reduction and Investment (SBRI) process in November, 2009, including through direct representation on student, faculty and staff committees. See the organizational chart for the SBRI process. President Kim and senior members of the Administration have hosted a number of open forums, including two for the entire campus on Dec. 1, 2009 and Jan. 15, 2010, as well as Student Budget Advisory Committee and Student Assembly-sponsored student forums and faculty-only forums. In addition, the College has held several meetings with Service Employees International Union (SEIU) leaders and will continue to meet weekly as part of a good-faith negotiation process.
