How can students and parents get started in their college planning?
A good place to start is eDiscover, which is a web-based program specifically designed to help your student identify his/her interests and narrow down the type of college where he/she might be most comfortable. NNHS has an account with this college profile website http://www.act.org/discover/ that can be accessed at no charge. Students can access the eDiscover Program by obtaining a password in the Guidance Office. Parents can obtain a password for their student by e-mailing Sandy Smith, at sjsmith@ncusd203.org or calling the Guidance Department at 420-6502. Other helpful websites are www.fastweb.com; www.collegezone.com; and www.collegeboard.com.
