How can sports and games help my child develop life skills?
Playing sport is a great way of improving gross and fine motor skills and there’s plenty of evidence to show that having good skills in these areas helps kids’ confidence. LAFS takes it further by promoting good eating habits and explaining to kids why a balanced diet and good nutrition is so good for them, particularly if they’re involved in sports. In our games and activities we teach them numerical and colour recognition skills – and they most certainly learn to listen and respond. Being part of LAFS helps with social skills, develops friendships, and teaches them about sharing, respect and being part of a team.
