how can snakes move without legs?

Snakes lift the front of their body and reach forward and then lay back on the ground again, then they curl up the back of their body to come forward, and repeat. They have a LOT of muscle power. When it comes to climbing, they will simply wrap themselves around an object, and do the same, reach forward, and then curl up the rest of them to follow. Just be careful of those that want to climb around you. 🙂 Many snakes can be harmless, but larger ones have the muscle power to crush your bones, even when wrapped around your whole body.
