How can schools be cut and not impact class size?
All options were built under the District average and this would be maintained in every option presented to the Board. Closing a school would impact buildings and non-instructional expenditures. The operational savings would be available to be utilized to improve curriculum and instruction. Ideas that have been presented to date for those funds include lower class size, art program, foreign language and textbooks.
