How can road infrastructure help reduce hunger in poor countries?
Subsistence agriculture is still common in many poor countries. This means that a farmer only produces agricultural products for his own family’s consumption. Because of high cost transportation, he can not afford to take his products to markets to sell them or to buy other products for his family.
