How can residents and landowners participate in the Annexation Process?
Input from affected landowners is an essential part of the annexation process. There have been be a variety of opportunities for residents and landowners to participate including two scheduled Open Houses in September, 2010, and focused consultation sessions in November, 2010. We have also incorporated information gathered from letters, e-mail, or calls into our negotiation process. Notice of public consultation opportunities will be given in writing to affected landowners, as well as advertized in the local newspapers, and on both the Airdrie and Rocky View County websites.
