How can RD 50®/RD 30® be disposed of?

0

There are two possible ways to dispose of RD 50/ RD 30: a) Any scrap can be taken to at a normal household waste disposal site. This can be done as the lead is a chemical component of the glass and cannot be leached out. b) The scrap can be collected and sold to a company that manufactures lead compounds. This possibility is only worth considering when the price of lead traded on the commodity markets is high. Both variants only apply of course to glass offcuts. They do not apply to cutting and grinding residue (powder, slurry, etc.) or other waste.
