How can Protestants be against the Catholic faith when there is so much supernatural evidence in Catholicism?

I believe that what the apostles taught is recorded in the Bible and theat everything that is necessary for us to be saved is explicitly taught in the Bible. God did not tell us that he'll tell us a little bit of what he expects in the Bible but that we need to go somewhere else to have them tell us what else we need to do to be saved. The Catholic Church believes it is an authority from God. In the early Church, the Apostles did have the Authority from God, but the Pope today doesn’t. Throughout history the Catholic Church has changed the rules on what they think is right depending on the Pope at the time. The Catholic Church states Mary was a Virgin till the day she died, but the bible says Jesus had brothers. The bible never mentions Purgatory, and Jesus says to the criminal who dies with him “TODAY, you will be with me in paradise” no mention of going to purgatory first, even though he was a criminal!! That’s why i don’t believe in the Catholic Church I only believe in the bible.
*sigh* Some of what you purport as ‘proof’ isn’t exactly that. Anyways, protestants don’t nessassarily disbelieve all the catholic hocus-pocus. They split because of the horribly hypocritical way the church operated, by the middle ages, it had become so completely corrupt, that it became impossible to follow its ‘teachings’.
I believe all religions to some degree have added their own teachings and call it the Lords words it’s not just the catholic faith that does so. We must remember tho that most people go to church or belong to a religion to have a place to pray to Jesus with others. I however choose to read the bible myself and take the words as I believe God meant for them to be taken I don’t believe we need to be in a church or go to church to believe in God and to live the way he teaches us to. I don’t think the God I believe in would like us to judge another ones beliefs was god who said for us not to judge others that is his job so I will let God decide peoples rights from wrongs it is not my place for I am not perfect myself.
I just wanted to say I know your pain and frustration, and I’ve also had to learn to not let it bother me. At one point it bothered me so much that I began to doubt my faith. God works in mysterious ways, because it was through that doubt that I learned to go back to prayer, to reliance on Him. This is my urging to you. Offer up all of those who do not believe to God in prayer. Ask for the Holy Spirit to convict their hearts and help them see the truth. You must go to prayer. I’ve reclaimed the Rosary in my life and it had healed me in so many ways, even the pains this website has caused me. Praying for them is the best thing you can do. God bless.
