How can pre-planned funerals be financed ?
At this funeral home all monies received in the pre-payment of funeral services are placed in their entirety in a trust account. Interest accumulates on this trust and is guaranteed to cover any increased cost of the services paid for in the initial contract. Some funeral homes do fund pre-payments with insurance products. At this time the Ontario Board of Funeral Services have not condoned this practice.
