To establish connections over the internet the following three conditions have to be accomplished. One computer within the local network must be configured as a static server. That means this computer must always be in the server role for all other computers. This computer should also be configured with a static ip address. The configuration ip addresses is part of Windows. If the server is not directly (e.g. via modem) connected to the internet, but it is part of a local network (multiple computers can use the internet) there is always a so called router. So called port forwarding must be added to that router which can easily be accomplished with most products. This forwarding must be configured so that incoming connections on the listening port of the Pimero server (default is 11202) will be forwarded to the local ip address of the server computer.
