How can parents help the Freshman Academy succeed?

0

Parents can encourage their child to be responsible for their academic success and their actions as well as provide a quiet study area for their child at home. Also, parents can work together with the teachers by openly communicating questions or concerns, asking questions about what’s going on in school, and their academic status in their classes. Parents should notify the Freshman counselor of changes in the student’s home environment/health. Parents can also join the PTO to help with various Freshman functions or activities, to give their opinion on various school-related topics and to be more involved in NCCHS.
