How can parents get involved with their child’s team?
Team teachers usually meet daily to work on team responsibilities. Once a month the Parent Teacher Organization conducts an evening meeting and quarterly publishes a newsletter. We encourage parents to contact their child’s team leader to become involved here at GMS. The GMS Student Council regularly needs assistance in chaperoning school dances, selling tickets to events, and volunteering time and energy for various projects. VACATION QUESTIONS? What do I do when my child is going on vacation? – The student should come to the office and pick up a vacation form. Parents fill out the form and the student returns it to the office. Upon return we issue the student a blue form they fill out and have all their teachers sign indicating that the student is responsible for all work missed. This form when completed is turned into the office before leaving on vacation.
