The new report card and parent portal will be implemented district wide during the 2010-2011 school year. General comments for the Report Card Committee to consider • On-line access to scores in high school is great and should work well in grade schools. • The current report card shows no accountability to D41 stakeholders. • Currently, we do not see any kinds of formative data come home. Formative data should drive instruction especially now with targeted learning time. • Teachers should be required to fill in the parent portal so parents can see what their child needs help/work with. • I think it is vital that we have a second (year-end) conference.
