How can one determine the effectiveness of TCM treatments?
Acupuncture is precise micro-surgery, only local anesthesia is required and the patient is awake, even during the surgery and is able to feel the symptoms improved. The operations tend to last 5-20 minutes, after which, the patient can feel immediate relief for some of the symptoms such as pain relief, increases in range of motion and so on. After 3-7 days after the massage, acupuncture, laser surgery, micro-wave therapy, and other physical rehabilitation treatments, most patients have shown improvement.
