Answer 12. All Neworiental energy saving lamps passed Surge Test required by IEC1547 standard with its specially designed filter circuit. The requirement of Surge Test is that lamps should be intact after being stroke by the voltage of 500V when the wave reaches to peak (special wave form of 1.2/50ms simulating lightning) for 20 times.
