Second Life is a virtual world that successfully supports a myriad of environments, some of which mimic the physical world while others are composed of architecture and content that diverges from the laws of physics. The platform successfully hosts communities of all kinds, from business enterprise and education to those with experimental or mature themes. Linden Lab is in the process of creating an Adult Only region where all adult content and behaviors will reside, separate from the mainstream Second Life environment.
