How Can Mr. Electricity® be used to reduce CO2, Global Warming, Acid Rain, Asthma, Dirty Air, and Mercury Pollution?
We have all heard about the “peak” load causing blackouts and transmission line congestion problems in the Summer months. This “peak” happens for only a few hours in the middle of the day, when demand from Industry and air conditioners are turned to the maximum output. For the rest of the day and into the night the demand for Energy is greatly reduced and referred to as the “off peak”. Mr. Electricity® can be installed with a Timer/Switch on the input side to store Energy during the “off peak” then use this Energy during the “peak”. This will enhance reliability to the individual ratepayer level, spread the “peak” load over 24 hours to reduce transmission line congestion and create a Market driven force to close dirty power generation.
