MPSCS radio coverage can be enhanced via a variety of methods. Solutions range from the addition of antenna and amplifiers to buildings, to the construction of an additional tower site in your region. Portable coverage enhancement equipment is purchased at the expense of the requesting agency and is managed by MPSCS personnel. For example, if an agency wishes to add a tower to the system to enhance in-building portable radio coverage, the agency pays for the construction of the tower and then integrates the tower into MPSCS. Members pay a small fixed maintenance fee and enjoy superior radio coverage at a much lower cost and level of effort as managing a stand-alone radio system.
