By appointment. The Science Museum’s collections form an enduring record of scientific, technological and medical change since the eighteenth century. Though rich in British material, they result from worldwide acquisition. The National Railway Museum’s collection, including over 100 locomotives and nearly 200 other items of rolling stock tells the railway story from the early 19th Century to the present day. Permanent displays include ‘Palaces on Wheels’.
