We can now create a real (or constant) monetary unit that is indexed to the government-issued nominal monetary unit. Using this monetary unit, we can issue currencies by the private sector (i.e. private currencies); that are self-adjusting for inflation (and deflation). We have chosen to call this monetary unit the Millennium Dollar®.
